All things serve the beam

It's funny. Just about everywhere I turn lately, I'm encountering folks who are "Dark Tower People". This is a Good Thing. Haven't read the books? Go do it. Take the journey. You won't regret it. Dang good books.

Roland on the edge of the Western Sea... A painting by Michael Whelan. Whelan gets it right.

Ah, you must read the last one! It has at least 3 moments guaranteed to make you cry like a baby if you've come to love the characters. It's satisfying and yet... ka is right royal biyatch is all I'm sayin'... ;-)

It's a dang good book. You'll enjoy it.

Carol—Fricking last book made me sob at one point. I couldn't read it on the subway because I was scared I might lose it. Read the thing already. Don't make me have to come over there...

I recently finished a re-read that I started in May. This time around, I really felt like I was a part of the ka-tet.

I too cried during the last book.

The last of the series is the only volume that I have not read more than ten times. Once was all I could do.

I think of Roland daily, though.
