I've driven the same route you're on many times, Merujo....my dear departed mum grew up in Fremont, Ohio -- 4 miles off the interstate in Sandusky County.
When I was a kid I listened to a lot of AM radio late at night, hoping to hear signals from the other end of the country....sometimes I'd hear French stations in Quebec, and once every so often I'd catch stations in Chicago or Kansas City. Seemed very exotic in that pre-internet age!
I know how bleak that long stretch of Indiana / Ohio / Pennsylvania can be. Hang in there and we're looking forward to the photos.
