Apparently, Amazon.com is in on the joke

This is the title of an auto-bot message I received from Amazon.com this morning:

"Amazon.com recommends Easy Spanish Phrase Book: Over 770 Basic Phrases for Everyday Use (Dover Easy Phrase) and more"

I'm starting to think this is a message from the Great Beyond...

Hm, either the Great Beyond or the Cookie Monster... It could be Amazon has somehow tracked your identity and linked it to your blog, with all the recent Spanish posts.

Personally I'm routing for your dear departed mum!

Obviously you need to learn Spanish, ASAP.

Perhaps the language holds the secrets to all the mysteries of the universe.

i laughed so loudly i woke up my poor boyfriend. who sleepily wanted to know what was so funny and then looked rather annoyed when he didn't understand... which made me laugh even louder...

i'm thinking you should get working on that spanish, and fast... (muy rapido even...)

Okay, now this is getting freaky. I really, really think your mother is trying to tell you something. Somewhere around here there has to a free Spanish course that has your name written all over.

And, oh, by the way, has it ever occured to you how your blog moniker has a slightly Hispanic twist to it?

Meh-ruh-ho? (Or have I been pronouncing it wrong? Mer-u-joe just doesn't seem right...) ;-)
