Of course, you have to remember that there is a precedent for this as by Royal decree, ever since 1722, the mayor of Dover has always been appointed as Foreign Secretary for the UK (but only on clear days when we can watch the French).Honest.It's true.I mean, you couldn't make it up, right ?
