Okay, TV Girl here hasn't been watching much TV of late. Work has been crazy, so I mostly go home and nod off pretty quickly these days. I make sure I see "LOST" and "Project Runway" (dear god, how did Santino make it to Fashion Week?!?!?), but just about everything else is a lost cause these days. However, I know there are some good things I missing out there, much of which I'll have to just put on my Netflix queue when each season comes out on DVD.
So, friends - if you had one or two shows to recommend - shows you think I'm nuts to be missing - what are they? I'm soliciting ideas for when I actually have some slug-like downtime.
Bring it on.

Veronica Mars!!!
It airs opposite Lost, so it's in a tough spot, but it rocks. (I like it much better actually... Lost just doesn't hold my interest the way VM does).
Season 1 is out on DVD and would be a good place to start because there is a lot of depth to the characters & storyline.
I've heard it described as: A little bit Buffy. A little bit Marlowe. A dash of Nancy Drew.
I wrote more about it just the other day with links to a review from Joss Whedon and an article by Stephen King (both fans of the show) here:

You like(d) Buffy and CSI, right? So I think you'll really enjoy Veronica Mars.
Also Grey's Anatomy. Sundays at 10 (abc I think). Very funny. I love Sandra Oh in this.
Right on with "Project Runway"--I'm addicted--Santino is entertaining- Nick is a better designer. "Dancing with the Stars"-nearly over. Agree with Gey's Anatomy--Try-Boston Legal, Commander in Chief and Medium.
Stargate SG-1.
*looks around*
What?
Battlestar Galactica.
Lost.
Medium.
In that order. (Haven't seen VM yet.)
I like "My Name is Earl" on Thursday nights at 9, and "Trading Spouses" and "Wife Swap". The latter two are like watching a train wreck -- you just can't turn away. "My Name is Earl" is the funniest show I've seen in a long time.
Earl is a bad guy to whom bad things happen, until he figures that karma is kicking his butt. So he makes a list of bad things he's done and the people he's done them to, and every week he sets out to right a wrong. Great premise. Wish I'd thought of it.
Shafa, we love Stargate also. You are not alone!
New favorite for Merujo and others to check out: Hustle on AMC on Saturday evenings. Quite good, but you must enjoy Brit tv and capers.
Sadly, I am addicted to the TLC show "Clean Sweep." Mostly for the psychology of why we keep crap we don't need or never really liked. Needless to say, I donated a lot of clothings this weekend ;-)
Can't wait to see who wins tomorrow night!
