Apparently, "contemporary" has more meanings than I'd originally believed...

Marquee outside a hipster Greek restaurant at Dupont Circle:

"Featuring contemporary Greek cuisine of yesterday, today, and tomorrow"

Discuss amongst yourselves...

The use of contemporary is funny, but I'm more interested in their abilities for telling the future...LOL

No kidding! The sign just cracks me up. It makes me want to stop by and say, "Tell me, Kreskin, what do you foretell for the future of Greek cuisine in DC?" (Especially since the average lifespan of a new restaurant in DC is less than a year...) ;-)
