I stopped at the non-Hellmouth Bethesda 7-11 tonight to grab a bottle of water. I'll be damned if I didn't find something marvelous in the fridge next to the giant water bottles:

Yes, Diet Crack (aka Coke Zero) is now available as Cherry Zero. Just what I needed. Crap. And here I was, working myself off the caffeine. I'm screwed now.
Great googly moogly. If the Coca-Cola Corporation ever pulls Zero off the shelves, I'm going to have to start attending a support group...

I saw this the other day in the grocery store and I immediately thought of you. In fact, my exact thought was, "I wonder if Merujo knows about this?" Then I thought of emailing you and telling you about it, but decided you likely already knew about it. Besides, if you didn't, I didn't want to be the one contributing to your delinquency! ;-)
Fear not, Merujo, I doubt Coke Zero will ever be removed from the market. Just in case, there is a resource for you (other than support groups to help you kick that habit) at the Caffeine Database. I also came across an interesting product jointly produced by Coke and Nestle called Enviga that they claim helps one to burn more calories than it contains; go figure, there's caffeine in that, too. Of course, now their in a bit of trouble with the FDA for that claim, and oddly enough, not because their product name so closely resembles that of the brand new antipsychotic drug, Invega.
That sound you hear is drool hitting the floor.
I weaned myself off of caffeine last week. Wasn't easy. Should save me lost of money from not buying Diet Dr. Pepper for a while though (my particular drug of choice.)
