On a night like this...

Breathing in fresh mountain air, watching the sun go down just south of Mt. Shasta...

I have to ask myself: why the hell do I live in a suburb of DC?

I mean, seriously?

You're in California? Gonna come see any of us Alloyoids in the Bay?

I wish!! I was only briefly (just a few hours) in Cali, en route from Reno to Portland, on a very short, but very meaningful family trip. But I was able to catch a cup of coffee with Lunesse last night here in Portland. :) Back home to DC tomorrow morning, at the crack of doom.

Glad you had a good trip. I miss the mountains myself sometimes. I don't miss cold winters much, though.

Oooh... California is wonderful.

But there is something very bewitching about our little swamp too.

Hoping you thoroughly enjoy your vacation as much as you are already!

It's the same question I ask myself every day, too.

Admittedly, it was a glorious full moon last night, after 64F weather during the day....... but, I know, that 12-14F weather last week and the streets and bus fumes, well, not stimulating in any positive fashion.

Glad you got some family time in, I think at least some good travel time! :) And, the weather here should be relatively warm this week, too, for DC in February.

The first step is the question. The next step is action :) Miss you!

And the best part is, no one had to die to make this trip possible.........well maybe Grandpa did, but you know what I mean. It was grand for the peeps to be in Mount Hood instead of "in the hood". Peace Out sista
