Blogger forcing my hand?

I haven't made the switch to "new Blogger." I've heard some nightmare stories from folks, so I figured, why bother? However, when I logged in this morning to post, I was hit twice with reminders about "new Blogger" and this ominous message in response to my old school log-in: "YOU MAY ONLY DO THIS ONCE!"

Huh. So, does that mean, if I log-out today at any time and get the itch to post again, I'm screwed and have no choice but to migrate? We shall see. I don't like being forced into anything. Change isn't always good. Read the mostly-ignored-by-Blogger/Google "help" group on Google Groups, and you'll see how many folks are unhappy with "new Blogger"...

Grrr.

UPDATE: Yup. No choice. I'm migrated. Grrrr x2.

I know beans about blogging, or, maybe more correctly, less than beans. So long as I can login that's OK for me but I wanna know you'll write in this new structure, if not I'll complain. How does it help if you don't post, I don't read and the blog is, well, dead. Some fucked up logic?

I finally took the plunge and migrated. There are some nice features that I'm actually enjoying, but I can't say I've been 100% happy. For instance, when I leave comments, if I'm not logged in beforehand, I lose the comment and have to go back and redo. Not cool.

I'm also finding that NEW Blogger works better in Firefox than in Safari.

Good luck with the migration.

Well, it's not so bad after a while, I've got the Greek back and my bluddies have been let back in, so I think it should be ok now..
