Audioblog Experiment #1

And a classy start it is. I managed to get the words "hooker" and "slut" into my first audio foray. My family will be so proud...

Aaaaahhhh, I finally get to hear your voice again after all these years. [heart goes a-flutter] I know I've said it before but I love your voice, Merujo! Very nice foray into AudioBlogginess too. Sccchnappy!

I'm sure I'm not the only one in saying I could blissfully listen to you - and what you think of LTUAE - all day.

/dude, got 3 kopeks? Gotta make a call...

I LOVED IT!!!

You have a cute voice... so audio-blog away and know that 'we are listening'... and I too, have a slutty voice in the business place - what is with that? Nothing so wonderful as having clients say "What a sexy voice you have". Yeah, very professional - um, just the "wrong" profession - LOL!

Of course I have a theory that the slutty voice (and your's is GREAT) is not a slutty voice, but actually a calming and APPROACHABLE voice - hence the ease the listener feels in commenting about it... but that IS just my opinion.

kopeklessly yours,
SJL

God bless you both, Paul-chik and SJL. I actually asked the Sasquatch last night if I should remove it just because I'm so annoying. (While he didn't think I was annoying, he thinks it's all better in print - print guy that he is - as people can put their own inflection into what they read. Graphic designers!)

Merujo! Thanks so much for posting the new # to my blog. I'd never had a problem with it until yesterday, and then I felt badly about having praised it on Nickerblog. I'm glad it worked out.

Very nice foray and your voice isn't annoying at all. I hated my first audioblog, felt it didn't sound like me, but what the hell, right? I saw this great Saturday night live skit last week where Alec Baldwin records a new answering machine message for his office, but when he plays it back it sounds totally different. He keeps redoing it more gruff each time, and it keeps sounding more effeminate until eventually the recording says stuff he didn't say at all. Of course his wife and everyone else say it sounds just like him.

I remember that sketch! I laughed so hard. When that originally aired, I got picked on big time at work the next Monday, since I was notorious for recording and re-recording my voicemail message like I had some mild form of schizophrenia.

But, I did the audioblog thing in one take. A miracle for me. :-)

I admit to some additional takes on my first two audioblogs, but I'm past even reviewing them before posting now 'cuz it just sucks up cell minutes.

Oh, I so understand!

I'm going to try it out on the cell phone. If it's not too fuzzy to hear, that'll be free for me on nights and weekends...

I have to file this under "budgeting your creativity, or blogging w/o an income..."
